このウイルスは飛沫感染、接触感染が主体とされているので、石鹸をつけた手洗いを励行ください（各階に液体石鹸を設置してあります）。消毒用エタノールも有効です。一方で、狭い閉鎖空間だと空気感染もあり得るようで、若者が発症せずに感染を広げている可能性も指摘され始めました。不要不急の出張は極力控えてください。またどうしても必要な場合には帰所後に感染を広げないよう、マスクを着用し、少しでも体調の悪化があれば休んでください。重症化するのは高齢者や基礎疾患がある人とされていますが、20-30代も意外に多いので注意が必要です。
小中高の休校に伴い、必要であればキッズルームを開設しますので、メールでお伝えした連絡先までお願いします。速やかに沈静化していくことを願っています。

Please wash your hands with soap when you come into the lab or get home. 70% ethanol is also effective. In addition, it is recently reported that airborne infection may also occur in enclosed space and that young people, who are asymptomatic, may be spreading the virus to the aged persons. Please refrain from unnecessary travels or attending crowded meetings. After coming back from such travels or meetings, please wear masks just in case you are already infected, and be absent from the lab if you feel sick.
Please contact the address in the previous e-mail, if you need to bring your children to the lab during the daytime. We can set up a kids’ room in the institute building. We do hope the situation will get better soon.
