After the prevalent damages by the Kumamoto Earthquake 2016 on campus building and the designated cultural heritages, Kumamoto University is now gearing towards revitalization work in resuming its functions as a university. We are grateful for the plentiful donations (relief funds) received from many companies, organization and individuals. In view of this, Kumamoto Earthquake Revitalization Project Foundation is set up within the Kumamoto University Foundation. We ask for your kind support and cooperation with this.
Institute of Molecular Embryology and Genetics(IMEG) also suffered severe damage. We ask for your kind support and cooperation.
