Survey of the disaster situation as well as school commute (Request)
To all students and parents/guardians,
I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to those affected by the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake. I believe that there must be a lot of unease regarding many aspects of daily life.
We are currently considering a number of services to provide as much care and support as is possible to those with feelings of unease.
Our priority is to assist students in returning to their normal everyday lives, and we as a university are now committed to resuming classes and restoring an educational environment as quickly as possible.
To that regard, in order to resume classes on Monday May 9 with peace of mind, we have decided to conduct a survey the entire student body.
There may be some confusion because several similar surveys are being conducted, but please understand the abovementioned purpose and provide your responses at the following site.
It should be noted that to allow for preparation for classes to resume on April 9, we ask that the survey be completed by Thursday April 28.
We apologize for making this request while aftershocks are still continuing. Thank you sincerely for your cooperation.
